Our
Story

"Our mission is to expedite a collective shift by being a catalyst, waking people up to their own power and giving them the tools to manifest their dream life to create a new world we all deserve."

It was July 2020, the height of the Black Lives Matters Movement, the coronavirus pandemic was ravaging the globe, the youth were working hard to holding city officials accountable all the while I am holding space for frustrated young adults in a ministry after a 6 year hiatus. I had just emerged from the fog of postpartum depression and had yet to unpack that experience. The fear, confusion, grief and anger was thick in the air and began to weigh heavily on my empathic spirit. It quickly manifested to a myriad of debilitating health issues that the doctors would leave undiagnosed. I asked God, "I know I am supposed to pursue justice work with my faith. But how God? How do I make this work sustainable? I have babies to take care of and can barely take care of myself. How do I continue being a Catholic leader under a church that continues to perpetuate its history of colonial violence and harm?"

In a dream, God showed me standing at the doors of my church crying, trying to get through the locked doors. God's hands turned me around facing the beautiful view of my city from the front steps. (The church is on a hilltop.) Quietness and calm fell upon me. Spirit said, "The world is your church and this is your ministry." Spirit nudged my back to step forward. Spirit should have kick me down those stairs because my butt did not want to go! I was just getting back into my ministry groove and now God wanted me to leave? My childhood church was comfy and familiar; I was a big fish in a small pond. Rather, I was a fiery female leader in the Catholic church and there was no platform for me except for the sidelines (we'll unpack that later). I didn't want to start over but it was clear my health and spirit would deteriorate if I stayed.

So I left the church. It did not mean that my work was over; it was clearly just the beginning.

In another dream, God showed me I was balancing many causes and efforts for community aid, healing, and liberation leaping from one project to another in a whirlwind with ease with grace & effortlessness like a ballerina. Serving community and aiding in healing would be a freestyle dance that would come naturally. From that, I understood that I would be called to do many things, hold many different roles, partake in many different projects and all of it would be in alignment with my calling as a healer.

I am not new to this work - healing, community organizing, mentorship. I have always been used as catalyst to spiritually awaken people. (Ask about me!) The collective is consciously shifting and the institution of old conservatism is dying. The Radical Visionary Collective has been birthed in my letting go of old ideas of what God's work & community look like and knowing that I cannot do this work alone. Our mission is to expedite a collective shift by being a catalyst, waking people up to their own power and giving them the tools to sustain a purpose driven life. It will take all of our efforts with our own specific divine gift sets to bring forth a new world that will radically center love, humanity and Mama Earth. This is the way for the New Church. To be a co-creator of this new way of being, yall don't need to be religious you just need to be a believer in a higher power knowing that this is the right time to make some brave moves. May this be a portal to divinely re-imagine & collaborate because all things are possible!

Through decolonizing my spiritual practices and endless [ongoing] research, I have come to know decolonizing theology and deconstructing from Christianity is a unique journey to those who chose to take it. While we were made in the likeness of Creator God, we are also all made wonderfully unique with interests, pains, and joys all our own divinely packaged as some one's answered prayer. Whether it be your ancient ancestors, your parents, a friend, a stranger - some one, or many some ones, prayed you into existence because you hold the answer to their prayer, to many prayers. You are not here on this earth in this time by mistake.

I am so glad you made it here and excited to heal & create something so, so good and radically different with yall!

Our Values

.

Vision

"You have to act as if it were possible to radically transform the world." - Angela Davis

Our words & thoughts hold power. Through our visioning practices, we reimagine a new way of thriving for ourselves, our loved ones, and the global majority and manifest this into our reality.

Rest

"Rest is resistance."

- Tricia Hersey, The Nap Ministry

Rest is essential to wellness, to hearing from your intuition + guides, to manifesting your dream life. Here we say "no" to grind culture and "yes" to abundance. You are not a machine. Your life is sacred.

Social Justice &
The Spirit of Kapwa

Kapwa is a Filipino concept of sharing, seeing and caring for others as oneself aligning with the Bible (Matthew 22:37-39).

In the spirit of Kapwa, we choose how we want to show up in community to assist in collective liberation as our lives are interconnected.

Inner Healing

"Get light to go fast."

- Trina Dilag, Founder + CEO

Healing inner wounds is essential to your wellness to be able to experience joy, love & life to the fullest. Healing is necessary to anchor your God given dreams & assignments and a responsibility to the collective so that we may create holistic ways of being.

Community

"Alone, we can do so little; Together, we can do so much."

- Helen Keller

We honor that all great things are possible through the power of community. We divest our energies from harmful systems and redirect them spaces that serves the Highest Good. All power to the people!

Joy

Joy, happiness, and fun are crucial to justice work. We believe life is meant to be enjoyed AND it does not always mean we have to struggle, fight and sacrifice. There is more for us in this life. Our joy helps us sustain the sweetness of life when we experience bitter moments and collective pain arises.
